Andrew Hazard is a rare find in wedding photography. Not only are his photos superb and capture the look and feel of the day perfectly but he is just such a pleasure to deal with. He managed to take over 700 wonderful shots (amazingly not a single bad one and capturing every one of our guests!) without appearing in your face. Hi Andrew

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for our wonderful wedding photos. We know it's been a while since the wedding and we have of course seen you since then and thanked you in person, but we've looked at our photos a million times a day since the wedding and every time we do, we can't quite believe how great they are and that it's us! So we wanted to put something in writing to thank you. We've been meaning to do it for ages, but what with Christmas and the fact that we have just bought a new house (we don't do things by half!), things have been a little hectic.

 

As you know, having fantastic photos was a real priority for our wedding. It was really important to us that our photographer understood us and cared about how we wanted our photos to look.  The last thing we wanted was a photographer who was loud, pushy and who didn't understand the look we wanted for our wedding. But you were absolutely perfect. You were so professional and friendly on the day. You really fitted in with us, and you captured the emotion and atmosphere of the day and our personalities so well. Everyone who has seen our photos has commented on how great they are. The worst thing is trying to choose the best ones to put in an album, as they're all amazing. And you also captured some fantastic images that neither of us saw on the day, e.g. our nieces playing and the outside of Cwrt Bleddyn lit up at night.

 

We were so impressed with the personal attention you gave to us - visiting us at home before the wedding to get to know us, organising us on the day and getting our photos to us so soon after the wedding. Thank you too for putting the photos on your website - we logged on near the end of our honeymoon, when we got to Mauritius, and we spent hours in the hotel's internet room looking at the photos and going back and forth to the ones we loved and just laughing and crying at the memories! It was amazing to be able to do that on honeymoon, we felt so special and it didn't really bother us that we were hours late for dinner that night! 

 

Thank you again for everything, you have given us a beautiful memory of the most amazing day of our lives. Best of luck for the future, we'll be sure to recommend you to our friends and family.

Hi Andrew,

At last we get the opportunity to really say thank you on your website for our wonderful wedding photos!! We're so glad you gave us your card when we met you photographing another wedding at one of the venues we looked at - that day, we were very impressed with your professionalism and easy manner which is the reason we called the following week. As we live away and couldn't get to Llangoed Hall very often to meet you, you went to the venue on several occasions prior the the wedding and you were very flexible in meeting me and my family to discuss what we wanted.

On the day, you were fantastic - apart from a few of the more formal shots, we barely even knew you were there!! You weren't pushy and forceful with us or any of our guests, which added to the lovely relaxed atmosphere of the day. I loved the fact that you wore black tie too to match the male guests!! The informal shots, particularly with the resident cat, were a real talking point on the day.

We really appreciated you putting some photos on your website before we went on our honeymoon to the Bahamas - I remember sitting in the lounge at the Heathrow Hilton and getting all emotional (again)!. It was so nice to get some lovely shots in advance.

As for the actual photos - you went out of your way to get them to us (even meeting my parents at a car park in Crickhowell!) safely which we thought (my mum especially) was lovely. I made her wait to look at them as they were coming to visit us the following day - they were so worth the wait!! Every shot captured something special about the day - the tears and smiles, all the little things you forget. We also loved the DVDs (each set of parents now has one) which were great to show to friends too. Our montages are particularly special - my mum has hers displayed in her hall and everyone comments how wonderful it is as it really captures the whole of the day. She said to tell you how much she loves her photos and how lovely it was meeting you again.

We can only thank you wholeheartedly for making our day so special - we would recommend you to anyone who wants a lovely stress-free wedding day and wonderful photos!.

Dear Andrew

Firstly, we are very sorry for the very long delay in writing this letter- its over 7 months since the wedding! I’m completely ashamed its taken so long to write and thank you, especially as we were so impressed with you.

 

The service we received from you as our wedding photographer in Majorca, July 2006 was far and away better than we ever imagined.  

 

For us, good photographs of the wedding were extremely important- after all, it is all you have as a record of the day.  After seeing your website prior to the wedding, we could see how talented you are and we love your style of capturing “natural” moments and allowing personalities to come out.   You have a great visual style and that initially attracted us.

 

But it became about much more than that when we met you and when you came to our wedding.  The fact that you travelled quite a way to come over to the hotel and see us the day before and take some pictures of us with our guests round the pool, was an added bonus we weren’t expecting.  On the day itself you were absolutely brilliant. As a kind- natured and lovely person you were also highly professional and extremely committed to the challenging job of taking our pics!   If there was any action- you would get there first- but most importantly you are a lovely person to be around and in fact many of the guests commented on how good they thought you are.  You literally didn’t stop all day, and this really showed in the amount of fantastic prints we received.

 

We were on such a high when we got back from the honeymoon and you had already set up an FTP site for everyone to view the pics.  We were absolutely blown away by the composition, the colour, the range and the style of the photos….and the quantity, there were loads! They were simply fantastic- and summed up our wedding day perfectly. 

 

Not only that, but when we met up with you to be given the originals (and even more fantastic prints taken with a manual camera- how did you juggle between cameras on the day was a mystery?!), you had kindly included a wonderful montage picture (which is up in our house) and some DVD’s with a moving sequence of the photos.

 

Everybody who saw the pictures were wowed by them and we would whole- heartedly recommend you to anyone getting married who want a true professional with a very artistic eye and who is also a wonderful person. (in fact, my dad has booked you for his wedding this summer!).

 

So our very humble thanks for making our wedding such a brilliant experience- its you who we must thank for all those wonderful memories you captured.
