Thar Desert
I’ve been a professional photographer since 2000, and in that time I’ve photographed everything from heavyweight boxing bouts and Formula 1 powerboat races to intimate weddings in Majorca, sweeping Welsh landscapes from a helicopter, and boardroom headshots that actually look like the person.
Photography has taken me to some extraordinary places - and brought some extraordinary moments to clients across Wales and beyond. But whether I’m shooting a wedding in the Brecon Beacons, a commercial development in Cardiff Bay, or a destination celebration in the Balearic Islands, the approach is always the same: calm, professional, creative, and focused entirely on getting the best possible result for you.
My career began at Cardiff Bay Development Corporation, where I spent 11 years documenting one of Wales’s most significant regeneration projects. I photographed the construction of the Cardiff Bay Barrage, the opening of the National Assembly for Wales, and events that put Cardiff on the international map. It was an incredible grounding - technically demanding, varied, and always fast-paced.
Since going self-employed in 2000, I’ve worked with estate agents, architects, developers, hotels, corporate clients, and hundreds of couples on one of the most important days of their lives. I’ve also shot for major concert tours, captured aerial work across the UK, and built a reputation for real estate photography that genuinely helps properties sell.
I’m based in Griffithstown in Monmouthshire — a stone’s throw from the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal — and I work regularly across South Wales, including Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, the Vale of Glamorgan, and the Wye Valley. I also travel throughout the UK and take on international work, with a particular love of shooting weddings in Majorca.
If you’re outside these areas, just ask. If the project is right, I’ll go where the work is.
I’m not the photographer who turns up with a rigid shot list and a factory-line approach. I listen, I adapt, and I read a room — whether that’s a nervous couple before their ceremony, a property that needs a different angle to show its best side, or a busy executive who has exactly 20 minutes for a headshot session.
Clients tend to describe me as easy to work with, patient, and quietly enthusiastic. I’d probably add that I take the work seriously without taking myself too seriously - which I think makes for better photographs and a better experience all round.
If you’d like to discuss a project - whether it’s a wedding, a property portfolio, aerial work, or a headshot session - I’d love to hear from you. Call, WhatsApp, email, or suggest a coffee. I’m happy to chat through what you need with no obligation.

Though I spend more time in front of a Mac than behind a Nikon I am still a very lucky boy.
