Frequently Asked Questions

To help answer some of the questions you may have, I have compiled a few Q&As that may be of help. However if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

How would you describe your photography style?

keyboard_arrow_down

I specialize in natural, documentary-style wedding photography. My goal is to capture the genuine, spontaneous moments - the belly laughs, the happy tears, and the quiet, magical glances - as they unfold. I take a "fly-on-the-wall" approach so you can focus on being present with your loved ones while I quietly document your day as it happens.

We’re a bit camera-shy. Do you do a lot of posing?

keyboard_arrow_down

Not at all! I believe the best photos come from real, unscripted moments, not forced poses. I’ll provide a little gentle direction to ensure you look your best, but my priority is capturing you being your authentic selves. If you're having fun, you're doing it perfectly.

Will you capture the "must-have" family group shots?

keyboard_arrow_down

Absolutely. While my core style is reportage, I understand that traditional family photos are important keepsakes. I’ll work with you before the wedding to create a short, efficient shot list so we can get through those formal photos quickly and get you back to the party.

How do you handle low-light or evening reception shots?

Not at all! I believe the best photos come from real, unscripted moments, not forced poses. I’ll provide a little gentle direction to ensure you look your best, but my priority is capturing you being your authentic selves. If you're having fun, you're doing it perfectly.

How many photos will we receive and when?

keyboard_arrow_down

I believe in quality over quantity. You will receive a high-resolution, hand-edited gallery of 500+ images that tell the full story of your day. I typically deliver your finished gallery within 2-4 weeks after the wedding.

Can we see a full wedding gallery before booking?

keyboard_arrow_down

I would love to show you a full gallery. Seeing one complete wedding - from the morning prep through to the dance floor - gives you the best sense of how we handle a full day. You can view a selection of our recent full-day stories Portfolio/Galleries.

Do you work with another photographer?

keyboard_arrow_down

No as I try and be discreet when I work and guests will soon get fed up having a lens pointing at them wherever they look.  I aim to capture the atmosphere of the day and not document every minute detail. However, the logistics of a wedding may require a second photographer such as 100+ guests or the groom getting ready at another location.

How do we and our guests view the photos?

keyboard_arrow_down

I will provide a private online link so that you can view your photos. Nobody else can view them unless you share this link. If you want everyone to be able to download your photos let me know. There is also a shop whereby you and your guests can order prints, books and other merchandise. However it may be easier to share the files so family and friends can make their own prints.

Will I be surprised by any hidden costs?

keyboard_arrow_down

Absolutely not what you see on my price list at the time of signing the contract is what you pay. I will however require drinks throughout the day and if I am staying for the first dance I will require a hot meal.

How do we book you?

keyboard_arrow_down

A date cannot be secured until a £350 non-refundable booking fee is paid and a contract signed. I will give you my bank details so you can pay electronically and I will of course send you a receipt. The balance needs to be paid 4 weeks before the day. A contract will also have to be signed which will protect the interest of both parties. My Terms & Conditions.
