Court Colman Manor Wedding Photography FAQs

1. Have you photographed weddings at Court Colman Manor before?

Yes, I am very familiar with Court Colman Manor in Bridgend. It is one of my favorite South Wales venues because of its historic Tudor charm and the incredible variety of photo opportunities—from the grand staircase indoors to the six acres of private gardens outside.in Chepstow can accommodate up to 150 guests for weddings and evening receptions. The venue offers overnight accommodation for up to 16 guests in eight luxury bedrooms, including the Cariad Honeymoon Suite.

2. What are the best spots for wedding photos at Court Colman Manor?

Court Colman is "picture perfect" throughout. I highly recommend the Victorian rose walk and the cascading waterfall for romantic couple portraits. The Crystal Ballroom offers a stunning backdrop for your ceremony, while the wood-paneled Library is ideal for cozy, intimate shots or a stylish indoor backup if the Welsh weather doesn't play ball.

3. What happens if it rains on our wedding day at Court Colman?

keyboard_arrow_down

The beauty of a manor house like Court Colman is its interior. If it rains, we can use the grand foyer, the historic library, or the elegant lounge for your group shots and portraits. These rooms have fantastic natural light and period features that look incredible in photographs, ensuring you get beautiful memories regardless of the weather.

4. Can we have drone photography at the venue?

keyboard_arrow_down

Absolutely. As an experienced aerial photographer, I often use a drone (weather and safety permitting) to capture the full scale of Court Colman Manor and its six acres of gardens. It’s a fantastic way to get a unique perspective of your venue and a large "group shot" of all your guests from above.

5. How would you describe your photography style?

keyboard_arrow_down

I specialize in a documentary and natural style. My goal is to stay in the background and capture the honest, unscripted moments—the laughter, the tears, and the quiet details. At a venue like Court Colman, I focus on the "spirit of the moment" so you can spend more time partying with your guests and less time posing.
