Jack & Ellie: A Classic Country House Wedding in Usk

Photographing Jack and Ellie’s wedding in Usk was a masterclass in classic South Wales elegance. We started the day with a traditional ceremony at St Mary's Church, Magor before heading to the Glen Yr Afon House Hotel.

As a photographer, I love the Glen Yr Afon for its unique blend of Victorian architecture and manicured gardens. Even with the unpredictable Monmouthshire weather, the interior's natural light provides a perfect backdrop for candid guest portraits. For Jack and Ellie, we focused on capturing the 'in-between' moments - the laughter during the speeches and the quiet stroll through the grounds.
