I know it inside out! From the way the light hits the Arch Window in the afternoon to the best hidden nooks for quiet portraits by the brook. Because I’m familiar with the layout, we won’t waste time scouting locations on the day—we can go straight to the best spots based on the weather and lighting.
The courtyard is a fantastic choice for group shots; it’s spacious and keeps your guests close to the bar! If the weather is a bit "British," the Old Forge ceremony barn offers a stunning, rustic backdrop with enough room to coordinate your family and friends comfortably.
Absolutely. I specialize in working with natural and low light. The "moody" stone walls of the Forge and the evening reception space are beautiful, and I use professional-grade, low-light lenses to capture that atmosphere without blowing it out with intrusive, bright flashes.
That is my priority! Mounton Brook is great because the grounds are compact. We can slip away for 15–20 minutes to the brook or the nearby fields, and you’ll be back with a drink in your hand before your guests even realize you’re gone.
I highly recommend it! If we do a "pre-wedding" session at Mounton Brook Lodge, it allows us to wander the grounds together. You’ll get used to my style, and we can identify which specific spots (like the woodland or the stone bridge) mean the most to you before the big day.
